BOUNCERA: 2048 BALL MERGE
App privacy.
Effective October 3, 2026
Bouncera is developed and operated by Ozgun Aksoy, based in Canada. This policy explains how information is handled when you play Bouncera, wherever you are located. For privacy questions, contact playbouncera@gmail.com.
Bouncera has no ads and does not require a separate game account. Your progress stays on your device. The game uses TelemetryDeck for analytics, Firebase Crashlytics for crash diagnostics, and Apple services for optional purchases and Game Center.
Progress on your device
We save levels, scores, unfinished runs, tutorials, achievements, reward boxes, cosmetics, and settings locally so you can continue playing. Bouncera does not operate an account or cloud-save service. Your device backups may include this data; Apple purchase restoration and Game Center work separately.
Gameplay analytics
TelemetryDeck helps us understand gameplay, balance levels, and investigate problems. Events include sessions, tutorials, levels and modes played (including whether a run used Relaxed pace, Peaceful maps or the Mystery Portal), scores, highest numbers, run duration and outcome, progression choices, saved-run restoration problems, totals per run of bombs, drains, taps, swipes and tap tips shown, the board position chosen in landscape, and when a result card is shared or saved (its format, and Apple’s share target such as Messages or Mail; other apps are reported only as “other”). Completed purchases are also reported, as described below.
The SDK includes app and operating-system versions, device information, locale settings, session information, and usage-frequency information. It uses a hashed identifier derived from a device/vendor identifier or a locally generated identifier. We do not send your name, email, or Game Center identity as your analytics identity, or supply an advertising identifier.
Analytics starts automatically and the game has no in-app switch for it; to stop it entirely, delete the app, and contact us to ask about deleting analytics already sent. Events may be queued locally and sent when connectivity returns. We do not sell player information or use these events for targeted advertising.
TelemetryDeck describes additional anonymization on its servers and states that it does not store IP addresses. Its service receives connection information when requests arrive. See TelemetryDeck’s privacy FAQ and default event parameters.
Optional purchases
Apple handles payment for the optional cosmetic packs, the Ocean Supporter Pack and Celestial Opal. Bouncera receives verified purchase and entitlement information to unlock content, restore purchases, and respond to refunds or revocations. We do not receive your payment-card details or Apple Account password.
Completed-purchase analytics includes the product identifier, purchase type, storefront country, currency when available, and an estimated US-dollar value. A transaction identifier is stored locally to prevent duplicate reporting; it is not included in the reviewed purchase analytics event. Restore Purchases is available on each pack’s screen and in Settings.
Saving to Photos
When you save a result card, Bouncera asks for add-only access to Photos. It adds the image and never reads, lists or uploads your photo library; the card itself is made on your device.
Crash diagnostics
We use Firebase Crashlytics, provided by Google, to investigate crashes and improve reliability. On physical devices, crash reporting is enabled automatically. Reports include crash stack traces, app and device information, installation identifiers, and diagnostic logs containing game event names. We do not provide your name, email, Game Center identity, or a custom user ID to Crashlytics. Google Analytics is not enabled in the app.
Reports can be stored on your device and sent after the app is reopened. Firebase states that it retains crash traces and associated identifiers for 90 days before beginning removal from its live and backup systems. See Firebase privacy information.
Game Center
If you sign in, Bouncera uses your Game Center identity to display your name and submit scores, target times, and achievements to Apple. Daily and weekly leaderboards display ranked names and results. Pending submissions are stored locally with your player identifier and completion date, and discarded when the competition expires.
Your name and results may be visible to other players through Game Center. Manage sign-in and privacy in your device settings. Bouncera does not send your Game Center name or player identifier to TelemetryDeck. See Apple Games and privacy and Apple’s privacy policy.
Support
If you contact us, we receive what you choose to share, such as your email address, message, and attachments, to respond and investigate your request. Please do not send passwords or payment details.
Contact playbouncera@gmail.com for support or privacy requests. We use Google Gmail to receive and manage correspondence. We delete support messages within 12 months after the issue is resolved, unless longer retention is needed for an unresolved dispute or a legal obligation.
Retention and your choices
Deleting the app normally removes local game data. Offloading preserves it, and backups may retain copies. Deleting the app does not delete information already sent to TelemetryDeck or Firebase Crashlytics, or records held by Apple.
We keep analytics events for up to 24 months; after that we delete them or keep only totals that cannot be linked to a device. Apple manages its own service records. Contact us for privacy requests, including access, correction, or deletion where applicable. We may be unable to locate analytics records using your name or email because those details are not sent with events. Use Apple’s privacy controls for information held in Apple services.
Depending on where you live and the information involved, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy of your information, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or complain to your local privacy authority. Contact us to exercise applicable rights; we may need to verify your request. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.
Service providers
We use TelemetryDeck for analytics, Google Firebase Crashlytics for crash diagnostics, and Apple for purchases and Game Center. Support messages are processed through Google Gmail; see Google’s privacy policy. We only use providers that protect the information they process for us at least as well as this policy does. These providers may process information outside your country. TelemetryDeck identifies analytics hosting in the Netherlands and Germany; Apple describes international processing in its privacy policy.
Children and families
The game does not ask players to enter their age, name, or email. It has no advertising or in-game chat. Apple offers parental controls for purchases and Game Center.
Bouncera is intended for a general audience and is not offered in Apple’s Kids Category. Parents or guardians can contact us with questions or concerns about their child’s information.
